Proud Start will focus on activities that promote the five Strengthening Families Protective Factors, developed by the Center for Study of Social Policy and the National Alliance of Children’s Trust & Prevention Funds:

Outcomes
Increase parental resiliency by providing them with referrals to help them meet the everyday needs of their families.
90% of parents completing educational workshops will report an increase in knowledge.
80% of participants engaged in the inter-generational social support group will report that they have social connections
Provide concrete supports in times of need
Increase parental knowledge on topics that affect child educational and social-emotional development among at risk families in St. Louis.
