City Greens Community Garden in the News!

Midtown was one of 17 organizations in the state to receive a Food Insecure Cost-Share grant from the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Funding will be used to purchase tools, seeds, and other supplies for our City Greens Community Garden.

KSDK spoke with Mr. Dylan, one of our garden coordinators, on what this grant means to Midtown and the families
we serve.

Santa Celebrates 31 Years at Midtown!

Our volunteer Santa, Vince Reese, made his 31st trip from the North Pole to celebrate the season with Midtown’s family. On Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, he was honored with Midtown’s “Heart of Midtown” Award for his dedication and featured on Fox 2 Now!

Midtown featured in Old Newsboys edition of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch

For the past two years, Midtown has been a recipient of an Old Newsboys grant, which helps us provide direct care items, including diapers and clothing, to the kids we serve. In 2020, they shared Midtown’s story with the St. Louis metro area.
